• 12-hour rotating shifts: 7 am - 7 pm day shift and 7 pm - 7 am night shift
• Average daily census: 10 nursery patients and 3 - 7 pediatric floor patients
• Community hospital with Level I nursery services
• Local pediatricians available for consultation and rounding
• Newborn stabilization and transfer capabilities for 32 - 35 week infants
• Required skills include newborn resuscitation and circumcisions
• Preferred skills: central lines, chest tubes, and lumbar punctures
• Emergency department consultations averaging more than one per day
