The Radiology department has a comprehensive breast imaging section with imaging modalities including mammography with tomosynthesis, diagnostic ultrasound, whole-breast screening ultrasound and MRI. Breast interventions such as biopsy and needle localization are also performed utilizing mammography, ultrasound and MRI. There are four screening sites, with interventions performed mostly at our cancer center location and at our Women and Children’s hospital. The radiologists work closely with surgical and medical oncology to provide timely, cutting-edge care for breast cancer patients.
