Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation therapy
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in compliance with VA
protocols
• Participate in clinical research and continuing education
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality
assurance programs
Required Qualifications
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology
• Active, unrestricted Missouri medical license
• Minimum 5 years of experience in radiation oncology
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to compassionate Veteran care
Preferred:
• Experience in a VA or federal healthcare system
• Familiarity with advanced radiation therapy techniques
• Participation in clinical research or academic initiatives
