• 8 am - 5 pm Mon - Sun -- overnight call 5 pm - 8 am every other night
• New consults typically 10 per day or less -- total service avg 25 - 30
• Hospital rounds and consults -- inpatient setting with ICU coverage
• Acute care NP on site for overnight shifts
• Vent management, bronchoscopies, arterial and central lines required
• Ongoing leave coverage -- multiple date blocks needed
• Board certified in pulmonology and critical care required
• Fewer than 10 overnight calls -- rarely requires physical return
