Alliance is seeking a full time Adult Psychiatrist to cover an Adult and Geriatric inpatient unit in western Pennsylvania starting in December 2018. This is an ongoing assignment. Please submit a current CV and give us a call today to discuss your availability and interest.

Schedule:
8a - 4:30p M – F plus shared weekday and weekend on-call

The Position:
-Seeking locum tenens coverage to cover the adult/Geriatric population
-Psychiatry call coverage: 1-2 weekdays 5p to 8a and 1-2 weekends per month
-Coverage includes Rounding on patients (approximately 10-15+ inpatients daily)
-Coverage includes rounding on all units on the weekends (2 physicians per day)
-Length of stay 5-6 days
-Consults (2-4 patients)
-Responding to consults within 30 minutes, and regular consults within 24 hours (number of new patient consults average 2-4 per day)
-Type of charting – EPIC and must be complete and signed off prior to departure.
-Call is taken from home with a response time of 30 minutes
-The Psychiatrist will cover the ER and Psychiatry Inpatient unit by phone when on call.
