• If the candidate has interviewed for a perm job previously but it was a while ago, they will still look at them for locums, but will not pay a buyout for them.
• If cleared, please have your provider complete the attached paperwork and also send current CV. Client will not accept the CV without the pack completed IN FULL, every page.
• FYI regarding credentialing - Just like MAYO, Essentia expects FAST turnaround. Slow responses will do no favors for your providers.

Requirements:
The attached Essentia packet must be completed in full. Every page with 3 Psychiatrist references contact info (They only call them if accepted for the job).
• Board Certified preferred, Truly BE considered (must be within 3 years)
• Minimum coverage requirement: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off opposite another existing provider (*can do full-time if they’re willing to do completely outpatient the alternate weeks)
• Coverage: mornings will be on the C/A inpatient unit (can take patients as young as 3, but dependent upon total patient mix), afternoons will be in the outpatient clinic --- clinic and unit are less than a 2 minute walk apart (down one stairway and a hall) --- NO CALL, Mon-Fri only
• Patient Load: Inpatient rounding 4-6 patients/morning, for Outpatient….new patients to the clinic = 90 min appointments, new patients to physician = 60 min appointments, follow-ups = 30 min appointments
• Experience requirement: Board certified or truly board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, at least 1 year out of residency
• **Other note: H&Ps are required, although 80-90% of the time, they’ll merely be making a note saying that the exam done in the ED is still consistent.
• They want a minimum 6 month commitment whether full time or part time, but we can book them for a full year if desired.
