A renown Epilepsy practice that is one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing academic private neurology practices, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Epileptologist to join a dynamic team in the vibrant Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul.
About the Role:
- Comprehensive Practice: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of epilepsy-trained physicians, advanced practice providers, neuropsychologists, psychologists, and social workers. The clinic offers a full spectrum of epilepsy services and has strong support for genetics and other pediatric subspecialties.
- State-of-the-Art Facilities: The practice is affiliated with an award-winning hospital featuring dedicated 11-bed adult and pediatric epilepsy monitoring units. They provide 24/7 EEG monitoring support with registered EEG techs.
- Advanced Surgical Program: Participate in a robust surgical program that includes Magneto-encephalography, Stereotactic EEG (ROSA), and a variety of surgical interventions such as resection, laser ablation, VNS, RNS, and DBS.
- Specialty Clinics & Programs: Engage in dedicated specialty clinics including the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, Duplication 15q Syndrome Alliance, pediatric to adult transition, epilepsy genetics, and ketogenic diet programs.
- Diverse Scope of Practice: Responsibilities include long-term video EEG monitoring, inpatient consultations, and outpatient clinical care. There are also opportunities for research, including pharmaceutical trials, and teaching.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in pediatric epilepsy is required.
- Board eligibility or certification (BC/BE) in pediatric epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology.
