Academic Chief General Pediatrics 1 Hour from Raleigh

Position is responsible for administration and leadership of the Pediatric Division.  Close collaboration with the Co-Pediatric outpatient Medical Director to ensure the discharge of clinical responsibilities.  Further development of the division’s research and educational mission.  Fostering of career development for faculty and staff members. Lead continued expansion of the division and system.  Diverse, dynamic, and enthusiastic division made up of providers who value collaborative and complementary approaches for addressing the ongoing growth opportunities in patient care, education, and research.  Established division comprised of 12 Physicians 2 Advanced Practice Providers.  Primary clinical responsibilities include outpatient primary care.  Opportunity to teach and provide supervision of pediatric residents and medical students.  Ability to participate in clinical research.  Must have six years of experience as a practicing pediatrician.  Comprehensive benefits including relocation assistance, vacation & sick PTO, CME days & reimbursement, malpractice (with tail), retirement benefits, state health plan health insurance, employer paid dependent health insurance, medical and dental reimbursements, employer paid AD&D, disability, and life insurance.
