DESCRIPTION: 

(Registered Profile Required)hroughout 2024.

On-call, 24-hour rate (includes 4 hours gratis)

Shift times: 7 am to 7 am

Frequency/Days: 11 days a month (3/27, 28, 4/1, 2, 3, 4, 15,16,17,18, 26, 27, 28, 5/6, 7, 8, 9, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28)

Duties: Ortho Trauma Call coverage for:

• One Level II

• One Level III

• Three Critical Access facilities (24 hours) with the assistance of one APP

• Outpatient treatment of ER follow-ups, post-surgical, and new fracture patient care.

• Follow-ups are shared with the second Ortho Trauma Surgeon.

• Procedures: Orthopedic trauma surgical procedures.

• Patients per day: 18 outpatient visits, unpredictable ER call.

• Staff Support: 5 office, one office APP, two hospital APPs. 4 Surgeons.

REQUIRED: 

• TX state license; active, unrestricted

• Board Eligible (within 2-5 years of accredited residency)/Board Certified

• Ortho Trauma Fellowship – Preferred.

• Malpractice: Clean

·        BLS/ACLS, DEA

• EMR: Meditech, eClinicalWorks.

• BC, BLS/ACLS, DEA

COMPENSATION:

• Malpractice insurance provided.

• Travel: Seeking Local.

• Credential: 60-90 days.

• ALL RATES CONSIDERED (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
