LOCATION:  ILLINOIS * *

JOB TYPE: LOCUMS **

JOB NUMBER: 46784 * *

 

DESCRIPTION: 

· Three minimum shifts/month.

· 24-hr. pager call 7am-7am, 2 hrs. gratis.

· Call types: Unrestricted, calls from hotel are ok.

· Level I Trauma cases:

o    Fractures including complex (acetabular/pelvic fractures)

o    Hand Trauma included (not micro cases)

· EMR/Charting: EPIC

Typical Day: The locum will be on-call and work solo, with a consulting group of 12 surgeons.

· In the OR on weekdays, with elective cases when locum is present.

· Another group employs APP’s for OR assist and Call.

· They are short 3 APPs at the present time, and they cover both Trauma and Hand – when available, will assist.

REQUIRED: 

  • IL state license; active, unrestricted
  • Board Eligible (within 2-5 years of accredited residency)/Board Certified
  • BLS/ACLS, DEA
  • Days to Credential: 45, with clean BG.

COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
  • Malpractice insurance provided.
