An opportunity is available for a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join a hospital employed group. Fellowship trained physicians are welcome but must be open to a practice of at least 50% general orthopedic patients. Call 1:3-1:5. An 18 million dollar OR renovation includes latest equipment and spacious rooms (8 OR's) with blocked time available. The hospital is a full service acute care facility with all specialties offered with the exception of neurosurgery, transplant surgery and open-heart surgery. There is a robust hospitalists program that has been in place for 8 years with 6 hospitalists. The 300 bed hospital has one of the busiest level III trauma centers in the country with about 50,000 ED visits per year. Service area is over 250.000. Located one hour from Charlestown, WV. The area draws thousands of tourists annually to its outdoor recreational amenities such as skiing and white-water rafting.
