24-hour call; 8am-8am. Long-term and ongoing coverage needed.

DESCRIPTION: 

·         No Clinic patients

·         Call Night /Weekend; 4-5 shifts per week.

o   Start 8:00 AM (day shift) 8:00PM (night shift)

o   End 8:00 AM (night shift) 8:00PM (day shift) 

·         Average phone consults 15-25

·         Call with be for multiple sites. – both assigned and unassigned patience [including calls from at least four other facilities}.

·         Call response time: 15 min.

·         Call Back % 65%

·         Average Phone consults 15-25

·         Average admissions while on call 6

·         Average patients seen while on call 25.

·         Support Staff: Floor nurses, at least 3 Advanced practitioners/mid-levels.

·         Age of patients - 16-40 average.

·         PEDs Level II NICU available

REQUIRED: 

• High Risk Pregnancy

• Routine Delivery: routine delivery: vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for c-sections

• Complicated delivery: c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBAC's

• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations

• FL state license; active, unrestricted.

• Board certified OBGYN.

• Minimum 100 deliveries in the past 24 months

• DEA

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)

• Malpractice insurance provided.

• Seeking Local candidate – milage will be reimbursed. No need for a hotel, as the hospital has a call room available.
