Type of Opening (Locums, Locums to Perm, Perm): Locums – Seeking Fulltime Provider; long term assignment. Commitment of at least 4-6 months to start is desired with potential to extend. Client on-site advised that they will release this requisition via Fieldglass soon however we are receiving this HEADS-UP! – This contract is ours for the taking so let’s have some candidates in-line, ready to submit!
Location: Lacrosse, Wisconsin
Specialty: General Neurology (this is a hybrid position – combination of both Outpatient (Clinic) & Inpatient (over the weekend).
BC/BE Requirements: Must be Board Certified in Neurology - Board Certified Neurology; Successful completion of a minimum 36 month residency training program in Neurology accredited by the ACGME or approved by the AOA
Length Of Assignment: This is another Full-Time position in addition to the other locums provider that we currently have on-site working - currently
Facility Type: Outpatient General Neurology M-F; provider will be the on-call provider during the day ONLY & will be the Neurologist on-call for the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) *this will involve light rounding & follow-up on the inpatient floor
Patient Volume: 10-15 PPD (pending)
Schedule: Our locums will be covering the clinic Mon-Fri & also be the provider on-call only during the day *there is an evening service that covers call in the evening* Our provider will also be the on-call provider for the Weekend (Sat & Sun)
Call Requirements: Weekday Call & Weekend Call schedule (5P Friday – 8A Monday) TBD ***3:1 - currently working in a tele-call model but not ready for implementation as of yet***
Reason for Need: Vacancy – need additional providers to treat & see patients
