An opening is available for a general neurologist with training in headache to join a growing neurology department with this Philadelphia health system. We are looking for a headache specialist to step into a hospital based, established practice, also working with two Physician Assistants. The headache specialist will also have a dedicated medical assistant. This is an opportunity to expand and mold a popular practice as you wish, while still being part of a large neurology group. The patient volume is ready and waiting. The practice has a large botox clinic and are recognized as the leading botox provider in the area. All neurologists in the group are encouraged to develop their clinical interests, however every physician practices some general neurology from as little as 20/30% to as much as 50%, depending on preferences. When fully staffed, there will be 11 neurologists, which will improve the already reasonable call schedule even more. Work at primarily one medical center, also a teaching hospital. The department provides treatment in a variety of neurological areas including epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, and sleep.
