Seeking a Nephrology Physician for locum coverage in Detroit, MI. To facilitate coverage the locum's provider would receive emergency privileges and need to gain/pursue/cooperate to gain full privileges which will take 2 – 3 months.

* Shift/Schedule: Clinic begins between 8:30 – 9:00 AM and runs until 1:30 – 2:00 PM, four days per week (Mon, Tues, Thu, Fri).
* Procedures: All procedures such as catheter placement and management of dialysis will be if needed by the transplant patient
* Staffing mix: MA's, pre-transplant coordinator, outreach coordinator, post-transplant coordinator, and social worker, APPs
* Other facts:
- There is currently one other transplant nephrologist in place and this coverage is to prevent her from having 24/7 responsibility
- Have transplant experience and be UNOS approved/compliant/credentialed
- There could be a possibility of involvement with residents/fellows. This is not a requirement and will be at the discretion of the department once a relationship with the covering locum's physician has been formed.
- Will see clinic patients (pre and post visits) as well as inpatient rounds on transplant patients
- The provider would cover inpatient call for transplant patients – call volume is light and all over the phone (almost never need to come in – all handled over the phone).
- Calls will come from the surgeon only and not from the ER. Locum will not be the admitting or discharging physician.
