Practice Details

Job title:
Family Medicine OR Internal Medicine Physician
Reason for need:
2 physicians are resigning and moving. With that being said, these 2 locum providers will be taking over a mature panel and will be required to hit the ground running.
This is strictly a locum assignment BUT has a possibility to transition into permanent. The client is NOT looking for locum-to-perm but will entertain the idea if they get the right provider. 

Certs/Qualifications:
Must be Board Certified
Must have DEA
Must have Missouri Medical License 
Must have BLS

Schedule:
4 days per week: Between Monday - Friday
Mandatory one day off during the week, pick either Wednesday or Thursday
7am-5pm OR 8am-6pm
1-hour lunch
Call:
1 week per month
Call only, no going in
Might get 1-2 calls the entire week. Very Rare

Position Details:
95% of patients are between 23-30 years old
Occasionally see children and geriatrics 
18-20 patients per day. Can get up to 23 on rare days
*This position requires emailing patients...this is typically done my nurses but can escalate to the physician in rare cases. 8-10 a day but the provider will only see 1-2
100% all appointments with a 4% cancelation rate
15-25 minute visits, looking for continuity of care 
Typical cases:
Bred and butter, cough/cold, physicals, minor suturing, mole removal, biopsies, EKG
Support staff:
Total team care - RN's, Case Nurse. This is a very seasoned team
NO OB or hospital work. Strictly outpatient primary care

The physicians will have a very strong relationship with the pharmacy, in order to administer proper medication management.
