We currently employ a five person hospitalist team. In recognizing both growth and preferred scheduling models we are now looking at adding another 3 physicians to our medical group on the hospitalist team. We have open ICU with nine beds and 11 bed step down unit called Progressive Care; these departments are primarily managed by our Hospitalist team. We do not have Intensivists on staff. We do have Emergency Medicine, Anestesia, Radiology, and Respiratory Therapists for back-up if needed. Physicians are involved in 14-17 encounters per shift (rounding/admitting); this includes 3-9 admits during the day and 2-8 admits during the night. Shifts are 12 hours. 7 on /7 off. -The opportunity is full time, hospital employed with competitive compensation, signing bonus, relocation stipend, great benefits, CME, licensure, malpractice and more. -IM preferred, FP ok if more than 3 years of experience, - open ICU—central lines and intubation are must haves. - 3 on during the day; one on at night.
