Acceptable Specialty: Family Practice and Internal Medicine Availability: Need 5 hospitalists that can cover 14-16 shifts each month – days, swings and nights. We have 2 immediate needs and 3 for Mid November to Beginning of December. Providers that can work minimum of 14 shifts preferred. Will consider 5-7 on availability for continuity. Current situation: We have 5 FTE’s to fill due to Physicians moving on from the program for new endeavors. Schedule: 6 Day Providers | 6a-6p | Admits, Rounding and Discharges 1 Swing | 3p-3a | Admits 1 In House Night | 6p-6a | Provides cross coverage and helps with admits Certifications requirements: Board Eligible # of physicians in clinic/program: 19 Physician program Support staff: Specialty Back Up Procedures: Not Required Patient mix: All Adults EMR: Cerner Who handles codes: Code Team in hospital; professional courtesy to respond but not required Who handles admits: Hospitalist handles admits, rounding and discharges ICU involvement: ICU Closed Patient census: 15-20 per provider; busy hospital with 12-15 admits overnight. Credentialing time frame: 90-120 Days; W/ Clean File | Temps are available
