Healthcare leader in eastern NC is recruiting an experienced BC Med Peds or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join an established program at a 140 bed full service hospital with an active medical staff of more than 50 physicians The hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy, an oncology center that offers leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy.  Highlights include: Employment, established program with 7 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner, 7AM – 3PM in-house, with pediatric 24hr. unrestricted call, 7on/7off schedule, Average pediatric volume of 3 and rounding on 4-6 medicine adult patients, Experienced/long term nursing staff, Ability to live in a beautiful waterfront community with an affordable cost of living.
