Hospital / Clinic Employed Hospitalist: Family Medicine Job in St Petersburg, Florida
This hospitalist opening in St Petersburg, Florida is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed position. In this arrangement, the hospital or clinic is both the recruiting and paying entity: you would be a W-2 employee, with the employer administering compensation, benefits, malpractice coverage, and scheduling, and typically supplying the clinical facility, staff, and referral infrastructure. This keeps business and administrative responsibilities to a minimum so you can focus on clinical work. Compensation here is structured as either straight employment or contract, with the financial offering listed at the national average tier.
There is no internal patient call rotation in this role, and emergency department call is structured on a 1:6 or better rotation. This is a permanent position open to both board-certified and board-eligible physicians trained as MD or DO, including American and foreign medical graduates, provided you hold US citizenship or a green card.
