Physician Group in New York is adding a Hematologist/Oncologist to their group at a NYC Hospital. The hospital is a Level I Trauma Center To this day, the hospital remains respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.
Opportunity Details:
Ample opportunities to develop own subspeciality clinic and precept a Fellow’s clinic.
Availability of various leadership positions from day one, opportunities to collaborate in clinical research and QI projects.
Academic appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
The call schedule is 1 in 6 weeks at-home. Fellows are first call.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted New York State medical license
Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $342,000* (Board Eligible); $347,000* (Board Certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $471,720** (Board Eligible) and $477,220** (Board Certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
