Primary Care Physician

Our client in Eastern Washington is currently in need of locums Primary Care Physician to cover physician shortage/FMLA leave. This position is for precepting only. The majority of the physician's time will be precepting (supervising Residents).

Requirements:

• Board Certified (ABMS/AOA)
• DEA
• CSP, BLS, ACLS, PALS/ALPS, NRP

Practice Details:

• Will work at satellite locations
• Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday, 7a – 5p
  • Saturday & Sunday, 7a – 12p
• Call is 2 weeknights + weekend home call
• Call back %:
  • Weekday: 0 – 2
  • Weekend:1-4
• Inpatient/Outpatient
  • 80% Adult
  • 2% Pediatric
  • 8% Geriatric
• 8 – 12 patients per day – (inpatients)
• 1 – 2 Admissions / day
• 1 – 3 Discharges / day
• Direct and indirect supervision of all 3 family medicine resident physicians
• Direct and indirect precepting of resident lead care of inpatient hospitalized patients. Usually, there are at least one or two other faculty physicians precepting at the same time.
