Location: LOVE RURAL MEDICINE? We have a DIVERSE HYBRID TRIFECTA position in South Dakota
Specialty Needed: Family Medicine Hybrid with ED & OB Call and Hospitalist Rounding
BC/BE Requirements: BC
Length Of Assignment: ongoing until hire ; weekend call and Holiday coverage also needed (Friday to Monday)
Facility Type: Hospital & Clinic
Patient Volume: 25 bed Critical Access Hospital – average daily census of 10; Clinic sees @1100 patients per month; @ 19 births per month
Call Requirements: one week per month, 7 day stretch Hybrid: Hospitalist rounds; ED/OB Call; Weekend Back Up call
Other Information: ED Call is back up to the Primary Mid-Level; Average ER volume/day 7-8 encounters per day.

Hospitalist week: includes ER and OB (vaginal only deliveries) with 2 on call shifts at night
Hospitalist Schedule:
7a-9a: Mid-level first call for ER w/MD as back up This is scheduled slot for MD to do rounds

9a-5p: MD will be 1st call for ER and OB and hospital with mid-level as back up

5p – 7a: Mid-level will be 1st call for ER, with MD as back up for OB
