Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client is currently looking for locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join their facility in Southwest Pennsylvania.

Requirements:

• BC EM/IM/FP
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required for non-ABEM

Practice Details:

• Shift: Single coverage, 7a-7p & 7p-7a
• Patient Age Range: Varies
• 55 patients per day
• No call requirements
• APP Coverage from 1p-9p daily
• During business hours, provider can order ultrasound. There is an ultrasound for IV lines, but not FAST Exams. In-house ultrasound machine the provider can use in an emergency. Ultrasound is not on call after hours.
• There is no Cath Lab, STEMI's are transferred to a hospital 30 minutes away; Turnaround time on lab work is roughly 30 min; 24-hour CT, X-ray and Ultrasound reads
