Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area is currently in need of locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team.

Requirements:

• BC/BP EM (ABEM/AOBEM).  If BP must be boarded within 5 years of training
• ACLS and NIHSS required for physicians
• ATLS is required only if not boarded in Emergency Medicine
• Case logs required
• Clinical References: Training director or appropriate chair from another hospital where applicant has been active during the past two years in the practice of Emergency Medicine; and two additional peer references who have recently worked with the applicant and directly observed his/her professional performance in Emergency Medicine over a reasonable period of time and who will provide reliable information regarding current clinical competence, ethical character and ability to work with others.
• Licensing candidates are acceptable, but facility will not proceed with all of the credentialing until the license is in hand
• Minimum 5 shifts per month

• Shift Times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a.
