Dentist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)

• The Dentist conducts oral and radiographic examinations of the oral cavity, including hard and soft tissues, and diagnose pathological or irregular conditions.
• Engage patients in treatment planning and document all findings in health records.
• Perform restoration of simple and compound cavities using standard prescribed materials that adhere to the standards of care.
• The Dentist administers local anesthesia and prescribe pharmaceuticals according to treatment guidelines.
• Perform oral surgery procedures, including simple and surgical extractions of teeth.
• Perform endodontic access and routine root canal therapy.
• Conduct periodontal procedures, including scaling and root planning, as needed.
• The Dentist completes necessary screenings and provides consultations on preventive care, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care.

Dentist - REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA), Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
• A minimum of three years experience, including at least one year in a specialty, with previous Client experience strongly preferred.
• Must possess a current, valid, unrestricted dental license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. Territory, valid for the entire contract duration.
