• MDs doing their own cases

Anesthesiologist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)

• The Anesthesiologist provides clinical anesthesiology services and patient care pre- and post op.
• The Anesthesiologist monitors patients while in surgery.
• Care for patients in the OR.
• Provision of General/regional anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB cases.
• The Anesthesiologist reviews medical files and lab results.
• Informing patients about risks associated with anesthesia.

Anesthesiologist - REQUIREMENTS

• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
• Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of two years of recent experience. 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
