Interventional Pain Physician (Las Vegas)

Personal Injury Practice | Expert Witness Work | 3.5-Day Week, No Call

Our client is hiring a full-time board-certified interventional pain physician for our Las Vegas practice.

What makes this role different:

We’re a personal injury practice, which means our physicians serve as both treating physicians and retained medical experts. Alongside clinical work, you’ll author expert reports and future cost projections, give deposition and trial testimony, and build working relationships with the plaintiff bar in your market.

It’s the most distinctive part of practicing here, and for the right physician it’s the most rewarding, you develop a genuine reputation in the legal community, your clinical reasoning gets sharpened by having to defend it, and the medical-legal side opens professional opportunities that a standard pain practice doesn’t. We’d encourage any candidate to ask us about it in detail early on, because it shapes the day-to-day more than anything else on this list.

The clinical work:

We’re out of network with health insurance. No prior authorizations, no insurance denials, no utilization review, no RVU targets. You determine what’s indicated and you do it. Our focus is acute and subacute interventional pain — diagnostic and therapeutic blocks, RFA, regenerative procedures — performed in a dedicated ASC with an experienced nursing team. We are not an opioid management practice.

We work as a genuine multidisciplinary group, with in-house mental health and established relationships with experienced providers across the community.

Schedule:

• 3 clinic days (8a–6p) + 1 procedure day, typically finished before noon
• Every weekend is a three-day weekend, structurally — not as an occasional perk
• No call. No weekends. All holidays off.

Compensation:

•
$400,000–$450,000 base guarantee, commensurate with experience
• Productivity bonus up to $100,000
• Unlimited PTO — and we mean it culturally, not just on paper; leadership takes time off and expects you to
• Health, dental, vision; 401(k); malpractice with tail coverage
• Nevada licensure and CME allowance covered
• Employed position. We’re private-equity backed, and happy to discuss what that does and doesn’t mean for how the practice runs.

Who we’re looking for

• ACGME-accredited pain medicine fellowship; board-certified or board-eligible
• Full independent interventional scope
• Genuine interest in medical-legal work. Prior expert experience is ideal, but we will train the right person from the ground up — the interest matters more than the résumé.
• Comfortable representing yourself publicly: attorney meetings, community reputation, testimony under cross-examination
• Someone looking for a durable practice, not a stepping stone

Las Vegas offers big-city amenities at suburban cost, no state income tax, and immediate access to some of the best food, entertainment, and outdoor recreation in the country.
