Permanent Surgery: Trauma Job in Michigan

We are seeking a fellowship trained Trauma Surgeon or a GS with 4+ years of Trauma Experience to join this growing Southwest Michigan Community. This Level 2 Trauma Center sees only 750 traumas a year, meaning if you were to join this hospital you would see up to 150 Traumas a year. GS Residents are in house to assist on any emergent non-Trauma cases. With this in mind you can expect 300+ Surgical Cases a year. Further information follows: Practice: " 7 Call Days (168 Hours) per Month " 424 - Bed/ Level 2 Trauma Center/ 42-Bed ED " 58K Annual Visits - 750 Trauma Cases (Mostly Blunt) " Work with GS Residents daily " Generous Compensation Package including $15k sign-on bonus and relocation of $10K " Hospital Based Employment with Salary of $475K with additional Shifts Paid at $2400 per shift " Option for Academic Affiliation " Residency Programs include: GS/EM/FP/IM/MED-PED/ORS/PED/PSY/OBGYN " Option for Research " 1.1 Million Service area " Over 120 Referring Sites locally
