This is a location decision first and foremost. The San Francisco bay area is very expensive and has traffic and long commutes. Generally a physician with family ties is best suited for this area. It is an amazing place to live in terms entertainment, shopping, sports and out doors activities. Most physicians live in the hills and reverse commute. There are excellent private schools and academia for the physician. Please research the bay area if you do not have family ties before inquiring. 

Well established Neuro Surgery practice recruiting to add one physician.  East Bay Area of San Francisco one hour from downtown.  Secondary office in Castro Valley which is 30 to 45 minutes from downtown. One year guarantee of at least $610,000 and then negotiation for long term commitment  including partnership. Physician will be asked to join medical staff at two hospitals.

FINANCIAL

Salary Range: __Physician  $610,000  Employed first year  This may extend into additional years but physician may also chose to negotiate partnership and change to production model.   

Structure/Incentives: 4 physicians in practice. Adding a 5^th physician ASAP  The main office is in Danville and secondary office in Castro Valley. The primary hospital is Eden Hospital. Eden Hospital is located in Castro Valley. Sutter Neuro Sciences is located at Eden Hospital.
