Emergency Medicine Physician
Our client in Southeastern Kentucky is in need of locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency Medicine Physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis.
- EM Physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
Requirements:
- Completed Residency (Does not have to BC or BE). Our client wants FP/IM Physicians.
- ACLS, PALS, ATLS
- 300 hours ED experience in the last 3 years
- Kentucky DEA
- Local providers only
Practice Details:
- Single physician coverage in 12 & 24-hour shifts, 8a and 8p
- Single mid-level coverage. 10-12 hrs of MLP coverage daily
- Procedures: Intubations, Central Lines, Chest Tubes
- Bridge orders for admits
- Codes are required
- Providers will do procedures
