Requirements:
- Must be Board Certified
- Skills:
- Delivery Room Care: Attend “at risk” cesarean delivery with neonatal team
- General Pediatric Care: Adolescents, Children, Infants
- Neonatal Care: Level 1 Nursery
- Procedures:
- Phototherapy
- Lumbar spinal tap
- Laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation
- Suture of minor lacerations
Practice Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Level 1 Nursery Call
- Pediatric Call – 13-bed pediatrics unit
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time Required: 20 minutes
- Call Ratio: 1:2
- 100% Hands On
- Locums call is for both assigned and unassigned patients
- Average Call Numbers per 24 Hours
- Phone Consults: 3
- Patients Seen: 3
- Admissions: 4
- Hours/Shifts: 24-hour call Monday, July 17 at 7 am until Monday, July 24 at 7 am.
- Rounding: Both assigned and unassigned patients
- Provider will not be required to supervise other healthcare providers
- Vendor can license a provider for this assignment
