Psychiatry Physician – Lebanon VA Medical Center | Lebanon, Pennsylvania

JR Enterprise is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, long-term, on-site opportunity at the Lebanon VA Medical Center in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Practice & Schedule

  • Location: Lebanon, PA 17042

  • Facility: Lebanon VA Medical Center

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

  • Setting: On-site

  • Position: Full-Time / Long-Term

  • Compensation: $250/hour

  • Employment: 1099

  • Call: 1 weeknight every 2 weeks and 1 weekend every 2 months

  • License: Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license is accepted

Clinical Responsibilities
The physician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to Veterans, including psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, treatment planning, clinical consultation, and ongoing management. The physician will provide inpatient psychiatric care on a 22-bed psychiatric unit and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

The practice involves treatment of a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions, including PTSD, mood disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, substance use and addictive disorders, dementia, and psychiatric conditions associated with medical and neurological disorders.

The physician will also maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation, follow applicable facility policies and procedures, and perform additional clinical duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license — any state accepted

  • Current and valid DEA registration

  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

  • Successful completion of required credentialing and background checks, including NPDB review

  • Any identified professional or background-related concerns may be subject to review by the Behavioral Health Director
