• 24hr call -- 12hr onsite 7am - 7pm, pager call 7pm - 7am
• Ped floor: 2 - 3 ppd; ER consults: 0 - 1 per day
• Average daily census: 3 pediatric floor patients
• Inpatient pediatric unit -- 6 bed unit
• No nursery or NICU coverage required
• LP and vent management required in emergent situations
• High flow nasal cannula management required
• Stabilize and transfer, ER consults required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
