Regional healthcare
system in eastern TN is recruiting a BC Urologist, on behalf of a private
practice urology group. Practice is busy
and thriving and position will join a well-established doctor as a part of
their elite care team. This physician would help lead the top urology practice
and fill a significant need for the community. The practice provides standard
in-office procedures, with a dedicated Cysto room and preferential block time
at hospital operating room. Opportunity
to perform 60-80 cases per month, of those 10-12 are usually Oncology cases.
Hospital bylaws require 10 days of ER/Inpatient call, current physician is very
flexible and typically makes himself available even when he is not on call
unless he is out of town because calls are so few. Position is employed and comes with a strong
benefit package and high income potential.
TN has no state income tax.
Call: 10 days of hospital call. There is no afterhours call for
the clinic, although there is an afterhours service who directs patients to the
ER if they have an urgent medical need.
There is no robot. Medical center has167 licensed beds, 12
intermediate care beds, 12 critical care beds, 11 labor and delivery suites, 23
emergency beds, 10 surgery suites, 2 GI specialty suites, 1 urology specialty
suite and 2 cath labs.
