Virtual / Telemedicine Telemedicine: Internal Medicine Job in Montgomery, Alabama
This permanent internal medicine position is offered as a virtual/telemedicine role, meaning care is delivered remotely rather than through a fixed daily clinic commute. As with telemedicine practice generally, you would see patients according to the licensing requirements of the states involved, with scheduling that can offer more flexibility than site-based work.
This telemedicine option is one of several arrangements under which this opportunity is available, including part-time and independent, group, employed, academic, VA, FQHC, contract, and administrative/medical director configurations. The associated financial structures include income guarantee, straight employment, an employment agreement with production bonus, and contract-based pay, with the financial offering listed at the National Average tier.
- No patient call rotation and no emergency department call rotation.
- Open to physicians at a range of experience levels, from those currently in training to very experienced.
- Board certified, board eligible, and board ineligible candidates are considered, as are both MD and DO training backgrounds.
If a technology-forward, remote practice model without daily facility travel fits how you want to practice, this virtual structure may be worth reviewing alongside the other arrangements listed for this opportunity.
