Director of Trauma Surgery Position The Group is recruiting for a full-time surgeon to join their Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Hospitalist team. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, dynamic, 24/7 trauma and acute care surgery service based at a 500 bed regional medical center on two campuses. The medical center is a Level 2 trauma designated (WAC) trauma center, with 48 critical care beds staffed 24/7 with critical care physicians. The 76-bed Emergency department is the busiest in the state of Washington. Seeking experienced surgeon with board certification or eligibility in surgical critical care. The candidate will participate in the development and implementation of a surgical critical care service. Approximately 10-12 shifts per month. Shifts are 7 am - 7 pm, 7 pm - 7am. Average census per shift 19. Full time PA coverage during the day. On average four cases per 24 hours. The facility cares for approximately 1,000 trauma patients per year. Salary is commensurate with training and experience, at or above AMGA regional standards.
