Single-Specialty Group Surgery: General Job in Knoxville, Tennessee
This general surgery position in Knoxville, Tennessee, is offered as part of a single-specialty group, where you join an established practice of surgeons within your own specialty. Clinical infrastructure, staffing, billing, and administration are already in place, and call is shared across the group's physicians rather than carried individually. The same role is also available as an employed position with a hospital/clinic/MSO structure, giving you flexibility in how you enter the practice.
Compensation is structured as straight employment or as an employment agreement with a production bonus, with the financial offering listed as Open. A signing bonus is included. Internal patient call within the group follows a 1:6-or-better rotation, and emergency department call is separately scheduled at 1:6 or better.
Candidates may be board certified or board eligible, and both MD and DO training backgrounds are considered, including graduates of U.S. and international medical schools. Physicians at any experience level, from those currently in training to very experienced surgeons, are eligible to apply, provided they hold U.S. citizenship or a green card.
