Lovelace Regional Hospital in Roswell, New Mexico is seeking a couple of general surgeons to develop a practice in this city of 50,000 in southeastern New Mexico. Our hospital is a modern 26-bed facility serving Roswell and several surrounding communities. We are seeking two general surgeons to either be employed by the hospital or to be set up in a private practice situation near the hospital. This will be a very general surgery practice. The hospital has a laparoscope plus MRI, CT and Ultra scan. Office space is available on the campus of Roswell Regional Hospital. Roswell is a community of about 50,000 and draws patients for general surgical services from a population of about 750,000. Call is 10 days per month for the ER and one weekend per month. Compensation is base on MGMA salary surveys. If employed there is a compensation model based on RVU’s and a possible bonus structure.
