This general surgery position in Elko, Nevada is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed arrangement. General Surgeon
Our client in Northeast Nevada is currently in need of a permanent General Surgeon to join their facility. Patients are currently being seen from communities as far as 2.5 hours away.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate would be one who is experienced and self- directed with a wide range of procedures that can be offered. Lap skills are required.
- FMG’s and J-1’s considered with strong communication skills and a track record of high patient satisfaction.
Practice Details:
- Candidate can also do some trauma, vascular, thoracic, colo-rectal, etc if wanted. Scopes are required.
- The facility presently does laparoscopic appendectomies, gallbladders, ileocolectomies, diagnostic laparoscopy for GYN and ovarian cystectomies as well as laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomies.
- Call is 1:3, there are 2 other surgeons in town.
