Watsonville Community Hospital, situated in the heart of the Monterey Bay area, is seeking a BC General Surgeon to join an established SSG. Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years practice experience and experience in minimally invasive procedures is required. Ideal candidate will be fellowship trained in minimally invasive procedures and have vascular and/or bariatrics training. Watsonville Community Hospital has 106 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. This is a newer facility which boasts all private rooms with bathrooms and an attached medical office building. Services include a 24-hour emergency department, busy birthing center with Level 2 NICU, cardiac cath lab, critical/intensive care unit, full diagnostic imaging services, full range of surgical specialties, wound treatment center with HBO therapy, GI lab and physical/occupational therapy,
