- Need for a General Radiologist to join a busy imaging division. Studies are interpreted on Group's main campus, even if performed at satellites. Three or more years of experience. * Job-3023
Skill and experience required:
- General radiology, abdominal imaging, orthopedic studies, CT, ultrasound. Credentialing in 3-D mammography (tomosynthesis) is not required, but desirable. Ability to interpret MRI
- specific training (Fellowship) in Body Imaging would be valuable, but not required.
- Radiologists do not perform biopsies, drainage or invasive procedures, obstetrical imaging, neonatal or pediatric imaging, major trauma imaging, nuclear medicine or molecular imaging studies.
- Radiologists are on duty (on-site) from 8 am until 6 pm during the week and a rotating half-day on Saturdays. There are no night-time studies and no emergency or on-call interpretations.
- Access is available to nearby PACS systems to compare previous studies. Speech recognition software is utilized. Would consider candidates who prefer only 3 or 4 days per week.
