ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manages medical and clinical programs through subordinate managers and staff physicians.
· Directs and evaluates hospital medical and therapeutic services
· Carries a full-case load (this is not Administrative only)
· Case Load is around 20 patients in PHP/Res settings (seeing patients in both downtown locations, 2 blocks apart)
· Participates in staffing meetings regarding patient care and progress
· Elicits and records information about patient's medical history and progress.
· Attends patients admitted for treatment
· Administers or prescribes treatments and medications
· Directly manages physicians and psychiatrists, employed or contracted.
