The Behavioral Health Unit is a locked unit designed to assist families and patients through a crisis. We recognize that having to be hospitalized creates a stressful situation for both patients and their families, so our goal is to provide rapid evaluation and appropriate treatment in a safe environment. Family members play important roles as support persons and advocates. With the patient's permission, we like to include family members in the patient's care.
While in the Behavioral Health Unit, patients are cared for by a multidisciplinary team of experts, including doctors, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, dietitians, chaplains and more.

Charting/Dictation: EPIC – provider will be required to complete a full day of orientation prior to their first scheduled shift
