This permanent, hospital/clinic-employed general psychiatry opportunity is based in Boston, Massachusetts. As a W-2 employee under a straight employment arrangement, the employer handles compensation, benefits, malpractice coverage, and scheduling, along with the clinical facility and referral infrastructure — allowing you to focus on clinical care rather than administrative or business management responsibilities. This role is open to physicians who are board certified or board eligible, and to graduates of allopathic (MD) or osteopathic (DO) training, including American and foreign medical graduates. Adult psychiatrist to work in an outpatient capacity providing direct care 20-40 hours a week in a community based outpatient clinic in Boston. The ideal candidate will have some experience with addiction.
You may also supervise residents and nurse practitioners who rotate through.
There is NO CALL and NO WEEKENDS for this position and you will work M-F 9-5. Some of the clinics are open until 8pm so if you would like some flexibility with your hours it can be arranged.
The patient population will be all adult and you will have one hour for evals and 20-30 minutes for med checks, depending on the complexity. On a typical day you will see 8-12 clients.
