Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist
· Full-time and part-time position
· Provide treatment to adult patients
· Treat patients in outpatient setting
· Flexible Hours – 7 days on/7days off model
· Weekend call schedule 1:6
· ED admissions
· Perform Evaluations and Medical Checks medical and behavioral health units
· Provide Education to patients, families, and the community
· Perform other duties as required
Requirements of the Psychiatrist
· MD or DO
· Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
· Eligible for license for the practice of medicine in the State of District of Columbia
· Board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry
· Experience with EMR medical software
