Practice Details

Responsibilities 1. Examines, diagnoses and treats patients of all ages, but with a focus on pediatric medicine. 2. Acts as primary consultant on all pediatric cases referred by other staff providers of NTACHC. 3. From time to time, provides in-service training for staff in selected topics in pediatric medicine as deemed necessary by the CMO. 4. Completes medical charts after each visit according to the problem-oriented medical records system. 5. Assists in internal quality control audits. 6. Provides quality medical care according to standards established by the NTACHC committee on quality assurance 7. Provide supervision in case assignment to physician assistant or nurse practitioner, including sign off on charts. 8. Supervises medical assistants and lab personnel in area of specific support services for patient care delivery. 9. Applies for and obtains staff privileges or courtesy privileges at community hospitals in the area. 10. Attends internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences, and participates on task forces or committees, as necessary and/or required by NTACHC. 11. Performs all duties and services in full compliance with NTACHC’s policies and protocols. 12. Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the CMO.
