Practice Details

We are seeking a Board Certified Child Abuse trained Pediatrician to assume responsibility for the development of a forensic pediatric practice in the region. The candidate must be a Board Certified pediatrician with 2 years experience. Additional Board Certification in Forensic Pediatrics is preferred. The Forensic Pediatrics Physician will exercise leadership and provide professional direction in assuring quality safety and clinical appropriateness in the delivery of all pediatric forensic care. The physician will also act as the Liaison with law enforcement Child Advocacy Centers and Department of Social Services as well as serve as the spokesperson for the Forensic Pediatric program to the community foundations governmental agencies and regional physicians. With a county population of almost 200000 people we have a strong public school system. The geographic location is such that you can reach our capital city Columbia in an hour historic Charleston in about 2 hours and the beaches in 1 hour. The mild climate allows us to utilize the excellent recreational opportunities on nearly a year-round basis.
