Forensic Pathologist (Head of the Autopsy and Forensic Pathology)
Our client’s Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is currently seeking a Forensic Pathologist to serve as the Head of the Autopsy and Forensic Pathology Service for the Eastern Regional Office of the North Carolina Medical Examiner Office and Vidant Medical Center.
Requirements:
- MD degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and Forensic Pathology required
Practice Details:
- Join a well-established academic practice with two other forensic/autopsy pathologists.
- Primary responsibility as the Head of Autopsy and Forensic Pathology will be providing leadership and direction for the service and performing autopsies. Additional responsibility includes teaching of fellows, residents, pathologists' assistants and medical students.
