88 bed facility and has won numerous awards over the last few years as one of the best hospitals in the state and the nation. The addition of a third floor and overall renovation was completed in 2008. It's a modern, state-of-the-art facility. 2) There will be 2 other ortho MDs in our group taking call as well as a local independent ortho MD. So, call will be one weekend/month per MD. CRMC is not a level one trauma center, so the bad stuff gets shipped out. Our docs report that the call here is very manageable and not difficult. 3) Not a hospital based employed position. Employed by Clinic, GA. $500K guaranteed base salary plus wRVU bonuses above that. A fairly busy doc with us should make $700K or more. If they're really busy, can make over $1 million. 4) There are 5 OR suites. All ortho equipment is state-of-the-art and bought new within the last 3 years. 5) ER volume is around 30K annually. Based on what our docs have said, the ortho call is really a piece of cake. 6) Yes, a hospitalist program is in place as is inpatient and outpatient PT. Our offices are literally 100 yds from the hospital, so getting over to round or check on something is not an issue. We have EMR with dictations, digital X-ray in the office & on-site DME.
